eromitlab - you're largely correct, but left an important point out - "... they've been listening to too much Good Ol' Propaganda being pushed by the Grand Ole Prostitutes party."

Wise move by some intelligent Texans. Good luck and best wishes to the Crawford family and all Texans facing this tyranny by TransCanada!

BIG OIL & GAS love us
How can anyone possibly believe that BIG GREED wants to spend BILLION$ building a pipeline just so they can move tarsands crud to the southern TEXAS coast and then simply sell gas to us cheaper?
Seriously?
BIG OIL does not need a tax free INTERNATIONAL PORT to sell fuel to US .....
Now when it comes to making a bigger profit selling to foreign countries?
A TAX FREE international Gulf of Mexico port comes in very handy.
BIG OIL & GAS love us

Norm10...
HOW do you....a Canadian, have the unmitigated gall to put down in that manner anyone from the US?????????
It is none of your business! Keep your opinions to yourself or share with your buddies in the schoolyard.
While it may be hard to fathom, as it is obvious you did not read the whole article, the US will not allow a private company to use the joke of eminent domain. Do you know what that means?

“The eminent domain process is well established, and we follow the process that is set out by law in each state,” he said, adding that the company was committed to treating landowners “with honesty, fairness and respect, to work with them and come up with the best possible solution.”
yeah, give us your land or we'll take if from you. how many of these are part of the drill baby drill crowd that are now fighting the pipeline from crossing their land?

So you have to show your passport, birth certificate, and driver's license to vote in Texas but to steal someone's land legally, you just gotta check a box on a form.
What was Rick Perry saying about this while on the campaign trail?

With Indian made pipe I wouldn't want that pipeline anywhere near my house. They have already had over a dozen leaks in the first year .

Since when can another country use Eminent Domain to further their agenda? Eminent Domain is used to take land to improve the lives of the majority, not another country.

The Keystone pipeline is not even out of Canada yet or , for that matter, been approved by the treehugger gods in Washington.

"Imminent Domain" should not apply here. It is not necessarily for the general good. How would one feel if it were you?
